Do I look fluid? is the first part of a trilogy. Developed in collaboration with Ingrid Cogne and Daniel Lercher, the piece is a dialogue between a performer and a musician mediated by an instrument called Platform. Platform is composed of 4 combinable objects. It is and functions as stage design, surfaces for writing as well as music instrument. In the piece the action of writing of the performer on Platform activates the inert materials and opens up a journey around writing as “action of transformation” of body and sound. 7 spacial compositions of the objects constitute Do I look fluid? activating specific written materials and choreographed writing, sonic gymnastics and physical practices. The physical practice of handwriting is the lens chosen for engaging with different media of expression and playfully tease the multisensory attentiveness of the audience. By using the associative capacity of the viewer, Do I look fluid? explores the potential which lays in the relationality of materials present in the space (sound, objects, graphic signs, words, bodies) and proposes a journey in a world of multiple semantic combinations. Concept: Alberto Franceschini Performance: Alberto Franceschini Sound: Daniel Lercher Dramaturgy: Ingrid Cogne Design and implementation of the platform: Alberto Franceschini in collaboration with Ingrid Cogne, Giovanni Bianchin, Daniel Lercher and Jonas Karl Pettersson. Premiered on the 27th of September 2019 at the Inter Art Center in Malmö With friendly support from Kulturrådet (Sweden), Association LAB13 (Italy), the Austrian Embassy in Stockholm, ACCAP/Cristina Caprioli (Stockholm), Raum 33/Elio Gervasi (Vienna) and the Inter Art Center Malmö
